The Yaphank Beautification Committee has created a new “Welcome to Yaphank” sign to replace the old “Commons” sign. They have also created a new planting area across from the Commons. Both were made possible from Host Benefit Funds from the Caithness Long Island Power Plant. More landscaping will be done in the coming months as well as the addition of a clock. We wish to thank the following for their generous donation of time and materials.
